Darlene lives in Independence, Kentucky near the Cincinnati, Ohio area with her husband Kirk and their two cats, Buck and Bonnie. She grew up in the nearby small town of Madison, Indiana and attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She enjoys working with writers to polish their writing while maintaining their personal voice. She also enjoys writing poetry, loves to travel, and is an avid runner.
